Termination from my job?

I worked at a pharmacy as a tech. I was given a new prescription to type. I went over to ask the pharmacist on duty about the milligrams on this medication. She told me to type it as 75mg, it should have been 175mg. The prescription was unclear in the first place that's why I asked. One month later , patient called back and said she should have been on 175mg. So I was blamed and fired for it. Does this seem fair?
