I Don't Mean To Come Off as Racist, But Why Are Asian Parents So Strict with School?

Asian parents are strict because they really want their children to focus in school and succeed. I'm surprised that you think Asians don't partake in recreational activities. Asian parents, from my perspective, tend to push their children to do some sort of extracurricular activity to increase their children's likelihood of getting into a good college. I think this type of parenting has good intentions on the parents' part, but creates psychological issues and resentment from the children sometimes.
