What is the name of this anime?

Ok, I'll try to put in as much detail as possible. This has been bothering me for days. It's an anime about a girl, the main character, who is basically an outcast because she didn't fit in with anyone. She had darker skin than the other people, because she would always go swimming. There was this one guy who liked her though, always said he loved her. The popular girl hated her, just for the sheer fact that no matter what she did to the main character, the main character was always happy, so she tried to make her life miserable. The main character developed a relationship with a popular guy, and the popular girl absolutely hated that. She did whatever she could to make the main characters life a living hell. I remember a particular episode where she had to swim and win the swimming competition in order to win the prize of a class field trip I do believe. The popular girl teamed up with the other girls on the swim team so the main characters bathing suit would rip and would affect the way she swam, to make everyone think that she was losing on purpose to get back at them. Sorry for the difficult description, but this is driving me insane! D:
