What jobs can a Certified Medical Assistant get in a hospital?

My hospital LOVES to hire Medical Assistants and EMTs for Patient Care Tech jobs. As an MA, you already know how to get vitals, draw blood, perform EKGs, and assist with basic sterile procedures. You've shown you are intelligent enough to complete a Medical Assisting program and pass the certification exam, so there is no question you can understand written and verbal instructions and since you've already been working as an MA, you can interact appropriately and intelligently with physicians and patients.
