What am I doing wrong in English?

You might be doing anything wrong in English. English is a very subjective class which means you could have one teacher read your work and praise it and give you a very high mark and another teacher could come along and read the exact same paper and mark it terribly. It's all a matter of personal preference. I would ask the teacher what you are doing wrong and tips to improve. Ask the teacher how you can improve your mark.
