Why do people hate me because I'm goth?

There isn't much you can do it about it, people are always going to be rude and some people are going to state their opinions whether you care about what they have to say or not. I remember I went through a gothic phase and now I still enjoy listening to some metal and I still enjoy things that you might say "gothic people" enjoy but it's what makes me unique. I'm a mix of everything now. And I don't care what anyone has to say about it! It's hard to ignore people when they're being a**holes but there isn't anything you can do except show them it doesn't bother you. One day the in crowd will no longer exist in your life and you will be completely content being an individual!
