How can I get fluid out of middle ear?

I went to the ER about a week ago because I kept randomly getting lightheaded. All my tests came back normal, but doctor said there was a little fluid in one of my ears. But he said it didn't look like enough to worry about right then, and to come back if I had ear pain. Well, the next night I started having bad ear pain so I went back to the ER. This time they told me both my ears were infected and gave me an antibiotic prescription. I can tell the infection is gone now (and a follow up visit to my GP confirmed it), but there's still fluid in my ear and I don't know what to do. If I stand up for more than a few minutes I start to get dizzy and it's just a real neusence at this point. I'm not in any pain, I just want to be able to get back to my normal life without having to worry about getting lightheaded!! What can I do?
